An Accidental ISO Test…

An accidental high ISO test…

So I went to Berry College yesterday to photograph the baby deer. I am still learning the Nikon D7200, but did not do what I should have done, check my settings properly. I went to change the ISO to 400, but had turned the dial on the front of the camera as well setting it to Auto ISO sensitivity control. I had it “On” as well as ISO 400. I was getting great shutter speeds! After about 50 images I thought it was too good to be true. I checked and realized my mistake and corrected it. Once I got home, I was very pleased with my “test”! The noise levels were not bad at all! The first image was at ISO 400, the second was at ISO 12,800 and the last was at ISO 25,600!

All the images were shot using the Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD lens on a Nikon D7200, Sirui P204S monopod and L10 head, Peak Design Leash, Lowepro bags, processed in Lightroom CC.
