Grasshopper and Sunflower

Another one from Fausett Farms Sunflowers the other day. I found some really great looking grasshoppers basking in the early morning sun to dry the dew off. I did a few closer images, but I sort of liked how the insect actually could hide using the patterns of the flower.

Watching me work…

When I take Lily and Bailey out each morning I most always take the camera with me just in case I can find some cool bugs or something out there. When I do and set up to photograph it, Lily and Bailey love to lay down near the tripod like they are watching. I think they just enjoy hanging out with me while I “work”!
