Another snowy day in Bear Woods

Another snowy day in Bear Woods.

We had a weird weather day yesterday in Bear Woods. It started with rain, then turned to giant snowflakes, then to rain, then back to silver dollar sized snowflakes, then rain, then light snow. It was pretty, but I think the roads may take a few hours to recover. The sun is melting things fairly quickly. The birds were super active around the the feeders and I kept them full for them knowing they would need the calories. A couple of years ago we had one pair of Northern Cardinals that frequented the yard, yesterday at one time I counted 7 pairs! With that being said, yesterday was Northern Cardinal photography day here in the Bear Woods Wildlife Sanctuary!
