Pleasant surprises

Pleasant surprises.

There are thousands of waterfalls in Iceland. Some have names and lots of tourists visiting. Most are just roadside gems waiting for someone to visit. As we drove to Borgarnes yesterday we spotted this one. I couldn’t find a name for it, but it was a beautiful hike to the base of it, and seeing it with hundreds of Iceland Gulls flying around it as well, made it even more beautiful. I finally got to see the Northern Lights last night, even captured a photo that is horrible, but was just happy to see it. It wasn’t very bright or brilliant, but peaked out from some clouds for a while. While it was at its best, we were enjoying an evening in the Hot tub and Sauna! Maybe we will get a chance tonight!
