Teton the Wolf, another favorite from 2018.
 
Staying with the Wolf theme for a second day, and obviously not in chronological order for the year, my visit to the Lakota Wolf Preserve in Columbia, NJ produced images for me that I would never be able to capture in the wild. Looking back at the images I made that day, it is hard to say “one” is my favorite, instead, it was the whole experience. We were there to video one of the Tamron – One Location, One Lens Videos (Episode 6) and I found myself having to stop staring and start photographing more than one time that day. Shooting images help to keep the memories fresh in my mind and one of those memories was hearing all the wolves howling in unison on a couple of occasions. I was using the Tamron 70-210mm f4 Di VC USD lens that day, and it has become one of my favorite lenses for landscapes since then. Here is a link to that video if you would like to watch it:
