St. George Island Milky Way

St. George Island Milky Way.

We were extremely fortunate to have a great friend and instructor, Ken Hubbard Photography, with us in Apalachicola for our workshop. Ken is a great photographer and few people capture the night sky as well or better than Ken does. The group was super excited to have him lead them through the process of successfully capturing the “MilkyWay” on their sensors. This was on Friday night when our group went to the beach while the Galactic core was just setting. The evening was so peaceful and calm, just seeing the stars was cool, capturing them on our sensors was great. Ken even demonstrated how to capture a “moon burst” to the group. Thanks again Ken for always sharing your knowledge and friendship.
