Out of Moab

“Out of Moab”

I am in Moab for a few days for an event called Out of Moab, a great event by the folks from Out of Chicago. These folks put on a first class workshop event for a limited number of photographers with more than 10 professional photographers. It includes field excursions, classroom presentations and 1 on 1 sessions with instructors. It is an honor for me to be here as one of the instructors and I am excited to meet many new friends. There has been a storm moving in from the south and it created some beautiful clouds and light over the Park last evening. This is a 7 image panoramic that I did last evening from one of my favorite vantage points in the Park, with Balanced Rock in the foreground, Turret Arch behind it, and finally the La Salle Mountains in the background. I hope some of these clouds stick around a couple days but clear up nicely at night for some incredible night sky opportunities.
