Irritated at Crows

Irritated at Crows.

One of the best photo ops we had while photographing the Big Canoe Eagles was while the male was being mobbed and harassed by a group of 2 or 3 crows. They were relentlessly diving down and flying closely by him while he simply sat on a point hoping to fish. When we were able to get the tree behind him, the scene was really perfect but the light sky wasn’t. Either way, being close to an Eagle, he even posed a little, was incredible. When he did take flight one crow followed him until he joined his mate in the big tree, which was the image yesterday.

Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD G2 lens on a Nikon D-500, Manual Exposure mode, f8, ISO 1800 (in tree) and 1600 (in flight), shutter speed 1/500th and 1/1000th respectively, handheld utilizing the Vibration Compensation feature of the lens, processed in Lightroom Classic CC. #WithMyTamron, #TamronUSA, #TamronLensesUSA, #TamronImageMaster, #BirdNirdvana
