Easter Lily Abstract

Easter Lily abstract.

When I do a lot of my macro work, I don’t like to always tell the story of my subject with too much detail. Instead I like to give just enough detail to entice the viewer into imagining what it could be they are viewing. I like to shoot with the lens at one of the wider apertures to narrow the depth of field. When doing this, the subject becomes more a study of lines, tones and colors. I want to include just enough information to get the viewer involved with the image.
