From High in the Clouds

From high in the clouds.

We have a beautiful view from the Bear Woods Bungalow. We spend a lot of the time in the winter, especially when the weather if mild, up in the clouds. The fog gets really thick up here and driving is slowed to a crawl for the first few miles, then we leave the clouds and all becomes normal again. I have said in the past, but I really love the foggy view we get here. It gives a feeling of peace, and even serenity. Being 15 miles or so from the nearest town, we rely on well water, so often the clouds mean our well is getting “topped off” with the rain. It won’t be long when the trees start to get new growth and with it comes the tropical migrants, and that is when Bear Woods truly shines.
