The Eagle

The Eagle.

I shared on some of my social media a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ck5FAmUKeeE&t=94s) that I did from Bosque del Apache. In the video I mention an Eagle that flew over the south Crane Pond and triggered the “lift off” of all the Snow Geese. This was the Eagle. Eagles will hunt for geese or ducks and when they approach, well the birds fly off. It is a sight to see and hear. After the Eagle flew over he landed in a tree at the edge of the pond and perched for about 20 minutes, then circled the pond again flushing the Northern Pintails and other ducks from the water before leaving the area. If you get a chance to ever go to Bosque del Apache during November through February, GO!
