HR Flufnstuf

HR Flufnstuf
I know at least 80% of you that read this are saying “What”? So when I was young, and yes we had TV, color too, there was a show HR Pufnstuf. It was our Sesame Street in a way, or not. It is kind of a Wizard of Oz thing with a creepy thing that saves the kid vs the Wizard and the slippers are a flute. Google it.
Anyway, this is the male, Pa Berry flying in with some “fluff” for the nest at Berry College. It was great he flew in with some really nice light striking him. Capturing a flying bird that is going in and out of trees with varying contrast can be tough, but my Tamron 150-600mm G2 lens never lets me down. I use Continuous focus and select Group focus area on the setup and find it gives me an extremely high percentage of tack sharp images. If it misses it is usually me missing the target on a shutter release, not the gear.
Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD G2 lens on a Nikon D-500, Manual Exposure mode, f8, ISO 180, shutter speed of 1/1000th of a second, handheld, processed in Lightroom Classic CC. #WithMyTamron, #TamronUSA, #TamronLensesUSA, #TamronImageMaster
