Thunder Hole under the Moonlight

Thunder Hole under the Moonlight.
During my group excursion to “Above Boulder Beach” the conditions looked like they would not be favorable to capture the Milky Way above Otter Cliffs. The moon was bright and the tide was rising. I knew the area around Thunder Hole might offer some nice opportunities for moonlit images, so we stopped there first. It was really amazing how well the moon lit the shoreline. Processing the image for presentation was a challenge though. There is enough light to allow me to process the image like it was sunlight vs moonlight, but I wanted to truly show how interesting the area looked with the blue light of the moon. In Lightroom I decided to bring the White Balance down to around 3300K to show the blue better. It is a better representation of the actual scene vs the settings the program wanted to place it if I let it do the Auto White Balance setting. Thank you again to a group of photographers that are trusting enough to change locations on the fly like we did!
