Fall Tomatoes

Fall Tomatoes.

As I woke up yesterday morning and watched as the sun painted the clouds over Bear Woods, I couldn’t help but notice the tomatoes in the garden. They have been there a while, but I hadn’t noticed them until a friend commented on a previous post. Evelyn grows tomatoes each year as well as squash, cucumbers and a variety of herbs. Just down the hill to the right of the tomatoes are the 3 bee hives we keep. We don’t live off the land up here, but we have always thought it important to have fresh vegetables and growing just a few of them yourself is fun and time well spent. Oh, and the sunrise was beautiful too. We do love our home and the time we spend in Bear Woods, our little slice of Heaven on Earth.
