The new Tamron 18-400mm lens for close-ups

The new Tamron 18-400mm lens for close ups.

For me a great All-in-One lens must have great close focus capabilities. When I am out just photographing, I might do wide angle, wildlife, or close ups. This lens has a 1:3 (roughly) capability when close focusing. I put the lens to the test the other day in my coneflowers. I wanted to see how the lens did with sharpness and how the out of focus area, often called Bokeh, looked. It did extremely well. I will continue to test and post results but so far this lens is living up to my hope as being a fantastic All-in-One lens.
