Big Wyoming Skies

This has been a very different trip for me this year in Wyoming. It isn’t primarily a photography trip, just being able to make images is a bonus. The ranch where we are staying is beautiful. It sits in an area between red rock cliffs and hills. Our cabin sits near the river that flows through the ranch. In the evenings I go out and watch the color disappear into darkness. Color in a big Wyoming sky is just breathtaking. Even when you don’t have the reds and oranges, just the clouds with light are fantastic. This was our view looking northeast last night over the Absaroka mountains. This morning we had breakfast on benches in the same spot. Our stay at the Lazy L&B Ranch is very relaxing and beautiful.
