Two Pretty Visitors

Yellow-throated Warbler

Black-throated Green Warbler

Two Pretty Visitors.
Yesterday, I had visits from a couple of neat little Warblers. In the morning I had a beautiful Yellow-throated Warbler fly to the hook where the hummingbird feeder hangs and check things out. He posed very nicely for me for about 30 seconds or so. Then in the afternoon I spotted a Black-throated Green Warbler hunting and gathering nesting material. She posed nicely for me as well as she gathered grasses for the nest, but she was all business and fly off when she spotted a nice juicy green worm on a mountain laurel. This has been a great year for a variety of birds in the yard, some of which will appear in the calendar for 2018!

  1. What gorgeous colors! Love them. My birds aren’t as attractive, but I like them anyway. :). Urban life.
