Take Off

Take off.
I spent the afternoon on a boat with Ken and Andre from Tamron, and another friend Patrick, photographing along the Apalachicola River. Captain Gill was our boat Captain and he did a great job of taking us to some perfect location for some wildlife and scenery. I know we were on the right boat when it was reveled Gill was a Marine as well. We saw a couple nice size gators and the largest Eagle’s nest I have ever seen. As we headed up the river we saw a 4 eagles, 2 adult, 2 juveniles having a dispute over a really large fish on the shore. As a boat went by they dispersed and we were lucky enough to travel along with one as it moved up the shoreline. We photographed as it moved from tree to tree and a couple of times to a log in the river. All together we saw about 10 eagles and probably 30 Osprey. Most of all we saw what makes this area so incredibly beautiful, the Apalachicola River.
