“The Class Clown”

The Class Clown.
We’ve all been there, school portraits, standing in line, waiting, then sitting, finally hearing…”look right here, nice smile”…
Yesterday I went to Angels on Horseback, where my wife volunteers, to shoot some headshots of the horses and to hang a few bird houses in the pastures. They are having an “Open Barn” next Saturday, stop by if you can. Calvin is the pony at Angels. You may remember Calvin from his less than successful run for the White House this past fall (actually it helped raise some money for the organization so it was very successful). Calvin is about 20 and a really calm sweet pony. He also rules the roost there. While we were doing a few “headshots” Calvin had this funny yawn thing going on, but it really looked like a little kid smiling and acting up. I couldn’t help but shoot it. On a side note, I made about 20 something Bluebird houses out of the wood from their old run in shed from the old location. They will be available for a $20 donation next weekend. I hung 6 houses, some old wood, some new, in the pastures around the barn and within 20 minutes there were 2 sets of Bluebirds on 2 different houses. I think they realize the view and location are perfect.
