A Little Song and Dance

A Little Song and Dance.

My male and female Eastern Bluebirds have been busy protecting the nestbox, but haven’t put more straw inside yet. He has been busy trying to run off the really handsome guy he sees in the window over the porch…his reflection. When he isn’t chasing himself, or checking out the nestbox, he will sometimes sit and do a little warble (song) and flap his wings while looking at the female feed (dance). The song of the Eastern Bluebird is still one of the most relaxing and pretty songs of all the songbirds.

Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD G2 lens on a Canon 7Dii, Manual Exposure mode, f8, ISO 400, shutter speed of 1/250th of a second, Sirui P424S monopod and L10 head, MindShift First Light 30L, processed in Lightroom CC.
