Simply Majestic

Simply Majestic.
I decided to make a run to Berry College to photograph the Eagles yesterday morning, and I was really glad that I did! There was lots of activity at the nest, most of it in poor light for the camera, but great light for the eyes. At one point Ma Berry did fly to a perch that allowed for some great opportunities. She is simply majestic. What an incredibly great looking bird. I think I shot about 500 frames while she perched, putting on a show for us. She preened, called out to Pa, even attempted to break a stick for us. I could literally sit and watch the Eagles all day, which is what I am going to do on a couple of upcoming trips…you have to wait for the images…

  1. Beautiful shot! I absolutely love the American Eagle. We finally had a nesting pair show up about five years ago, in my county. Last year their tree, and nest, blew down during a heavy winds. :(. Haven’t seen new nest yet, but they’re still hanging around. 🙂
