Checking out the Menu

Checking out the Menu.
I went up to Berry College yesterday for an “Eagle Day.” I got some really nice opportunities early and then again later in the day but between those times spent the day photographing ducks and geese. I really got some nice images and will share those as well soon. Early in the morning I went to the lake where some Eagles will feed and just after sunrise Mom and Dad flew in separately to check out what was on the menu. Mom circled a few times then went to one of her favorite trees to check out options on the menu. Dad came through a few minutes later but left without ordering. I went over to the tree where Mom was perched. I ran into a few photographers on the way and let them know Mom was there. I got a few shots before Mom did a quick pass over “Coot Kitchen” before she flew off towards the nest. She grabbed a Squirrel somewhere along the way and settled in at the nest for breakfast.
All images were with the Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD G2 lens on a Nikon D-500, Manual Exposure Mode, f8, ISO 1600, shutter speed of 1/1000th of a second, Vibration Compensation active, Sirui P424S carbon fiber monopod and L10 head, processed in Lightroom CC. #WithMyTamron, #TamronImageMasters, #SiruiUSA
