Sandhill Crane Impressions

It did my mind good today to challenge it with creating images vs. capturing simple birds in flight. Sometimes exercising one part of the brain takes the hurt from another part, and the heart as well. I worked with my group tonight photographing the Sandhill Cranes as they flew in during and after sunset. I talked them into slowing down their shutter speeds and panning with the cranes. After a few attempts they were totally into it! It is good to see smiles on faces when they attempt something new and completely out of their comfort zone.
