Festival of the Cranes Day 1

I arrived in New Mexico to some really incredible weather. It was clear skies, warm temps, and lots of birds. They estimate 7,000 Sandhill Cranes, 7,000 Snow Geese, 15,000 ducks and geese. I only got to shoot a little while tonight but was very pleased with the images all in all. My favorite of the day was this Canada Goose. They did a perfect flyby in beautiful light. I liked the way the water was beaded up on the feathers. Have I mentioned how sharp the new Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD G2 lens is?
