Bass Harbor Lighthouse and Fog

Bass Harbor Lighthouse and the Fog
Lighthouses alert ships as to where the shore is during thick fog among other things. We felt the perfect time to shoot the lighthouse would be in a thick fog. On Friday morning we shot in thick fog at Jordan Pond. It wasn’t lifting so Cecil suggested to the group we delay breakfast and go to the lighthouse. With great, well mostly great, enthusiasm they jump in their cars and and off we went. We felt we would probably be battling lots of other photographers but upon arriving, we found we were alone. Great conditions and no one there! We shot for a little while then went off to find other great spots and of course have breakfast. What a great group of attendees!!!
