I Hope She Doesn’t Think I am a Fish…

I hope she doesn’t think I am a fish…
A temporary break from Maine. Every time Ma Berry launches from her perch at her nest she seems to make eye contact with anyone in the nest viewing area. She always puts on a great show. I just hope she is saying hello vs. sizing up her ability to carry me back to the nest for food. This photo also shows why she is so easily identified, her left talon hangs to the side a bit. She has full use of it but it does make it easy to pick her out when you see her.
