Birch Bark and Red Leaf

Today was the start of our Acadia National Park Workshop. We started at Boulder Beach and moved into the gardens after sunrise to shoot some fall colors. The clouds prevented a colorful sunrise but we welcomed them for the foliage images. This was one image I shot while demonstrating some of the macro opportunities that presented themselves. The fall colors are very close to their peak right now and we are doing our best to capture it!
