Fausett Farms Sunflowers

Fausett Farms Sunflowers
I had heard about this place down the road from me a couple months ago and have been keeping an eye on it to see when the flowers bloomed. Well…they are blooming and it is incredible. They will only be in great shape to photograph for about a week, so get there now! Google “Fausett Farms Sunflowers” for directions, but they are located just north of the intersection of Hwy 136 and Hwy 183 in Dawson County, Georgia. About a half mile from the intersection of Hwy 52 and Hwy 183. There are 15 acres of sunflowers blooming currently. The cost is only a $10 parking fee per vehicle. If you are planning to take a model, there is a $35 fee for each session. The fields are in a valley running north to south so anytime should be okay. The gate opens at 8 am and closes at 5 pm. On Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you can even take a mule driven hayride. Tripods welcome.
