Looking more and more like adults

Eastern Bluebird 083016a copy

Looking more and more like adults.
I wanted to post an update as to the Bluebirds in the yard. They are molting into their adult feathers and looking more and more like a group of beautiful adult Eastern Bluebirds. During this time when they molt their larger feathers as well, they tend to stay in the tree canopy a little more for their own protection as well, plus with all the insects in the trees, they don’t have the need to expose themselves to then dangers of being in the open.
Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD lens on a Nikon D-500, Aperture Priority, f8, -.3 stops of exposure compensation, ISO 3200, resulting in a shutter speed of 1/2000th of a second (was set up for Hummingbirds in the shade), Sirui P424S monopod and L10 head, processed in Lightroom CC. #WithMyTamron, #Sirui
