Sweet 16!

Sweet 16!
No this isn’t this Eastern Bluebird’s 16th birthday. 16 is the number of Bluebirds my pair of adults successfully fledged this year. Many are still hanging around the yard from the 2nd group still. They are even starting to molt into their adult plumage. Last year the first group returned for the winter. It would be great if all returned from all three broods for the winter this year. I am not sure how many have survived the summer or remained here in the area, but it sure could make for a pretty winter with all that blue around here.
Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD lens on a Nikon D-500, Aperture Priority Mode, f8, -.7 stops of exposure compensation, ISO 6400, resulting in a shutter speed of 1/250th of a second, AF, Sirui P424S monopod and L10 head, processed in Lightroom CC. #WithMyTamron, #Sirui
