Horseshoe Park, RMNP.

We finished our first National Parks Night Skies Workshop this morning. It was extremely intense in the sense we photographed until 1a.m. this morning got back to the lodge at a little before 2, then met back at 4:30a.m. this morning to do our sunrise shoot. We then went back ate breakfast and did a session finally finishing at 9:30a.m. this morning! What a great group! Everyone hung with it and got some great images! This is from Horseshoe Park, facing the opposite direction from yesterday’s image. We were rewarded with an incredible sunrise after shooting in snow, rain and sleet at times last night. We did get some great Milky Way images too!

Thanks for a great learning experience! I can’t wait to go back to some Dark Sky spots to do some more shooting. Still working on the Lightroom part of it, but it’s a work in progress.

Thanks for attending! Cloudless nights would definitely have been better, but you will prepared now for a good night! Thanks again!
