Along the Middle Prong of Little River.

Most folks simply know this area as Tremont, but Tremont is the name of the community that existed there many years ago. The river is actually the Middle Prong of the Little River. Our workshop group spent several hours shooting along the river and from the results I have seen, captured some great images. One of the group was shooting some violets near some rocks with the river as a background. I really liked the composition and scene so when she finished I lowered my camera and tripod almost to ground level to capture the scene. I love the way the wide angle lens helps to decompress the scene and make the flowers look so large and dominate the scene. Thanks Mary Jo for letting me copy your shot!
