Bloodroot.

The woodland spring wildflowers are starting to come up in good numbers, a little early but very welcome. The pollen is off the charts but that is the flipside to beautiful spring days and flowers. As I type this I think I have sneezed 10 to 15 times. We have lots of rain coming in a few days from now which will offer some relief.

This is another image made with the new Tamron SP 90mm f2.8 Di VC USD 1:1 Macro lens. I am really impressed with the feel and obviously the sharpness of the lens. Tamron, you keep outdoing yourself with these Macro lenses!
