Mom has your back

Mom has your back.

The other day after my annual check up I went to Berry College to see the Eagles. It has become a place of relaxation for me. Can you ever get tired of watching such majestic birds? I think not. The eaglettes are 5 weeks old now and starting to stretch those quickly developing wings. At times you can see some interaction between them and the adults. One of the eaglettes was a little close to the edge and the wind was at times picking up, Mom actually got over and nudged them back towards the middle and away from the edge. They usually build up some guards along the sides but haven’t done much of that this year. I will try to get out once a week to watch these guys grow and fledge in about 5 to 8 weeks from now.
