Pops on a Perch
The last time I went over to Berry College Pa Berry, aka Henry, perched on a couple of occasions on a different tree than usual. It wasn’t the best spot for images since he was back and side lit, but when he turned his head, it created some beautiful light on his face. I can watch these Eagles all day, hearing them call, seeing them fly is incredible.
Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD lens on a Nikon D-7200, Manual Mode, f8, ISO 1600, resulting in a shutter speed of 1/500th of a second, Sirui N3204X tripod and PH20 Gimbal head, Peak Design strap, Lowepro photo backpack, processed in Lightroom CC.

  1. Awesome. I need to go find some eagles. Apparently we have some not far from me here in NC.

It is great that they are becoming somewhat common again!
