Little Blue Heron.
 
I think one of the things that fascinates birders and nature photographers is watching herons and egrets hunt. They can be so methodical and almost motionless during the hunt. When they are stalking they move slowly, but when a “strike” occurs, it is incredibly fast. They are so proficient at what they do…fish don’t stand much of a chance. I especially like when the water is calm and I can capture a reflection as well.
