238,900 miles

238,900 miles.

It is amazing to me that on a clear night, with nothing more than a camera and a sharp lens, a tripod to keep it all steady, you can see detail on an object that is 238,900 miles away. Just amazing.

Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD lens on a Canon 7Dii, Manual Mode, f8, ISO 400, resulting in a shutter speed of 1/125th of a second, Sirui N3204X tripod and PH20 Gimbal head, Peak Design strap, Lowepro photo backpack, processed in Lightroom CC.
