A Cold Pastel Sunrise

The 3 Chairs 011116a copy

A cold pastel sunrise.
This morning on the mountain it was in the teens with a windchill in single digits. It didn’t feel like it though when Bailey and I went out this morning. I had on my normal shorts and no socks. It felt good really. Oh well, either way it is a nice 70 degrees by the fire inside.
I spent the day down at Imaging USA in Atlanta yesterday. Cecil Holmes and I rode down there to visit with everyone. It is always great to get to the shows and see so many friends, old and new. I spent most of the day over at the Sirui Booth drooling over the gear there! Jeff is such a nice guy and it is a pleasure to talk with him. Of course no day at a show is complete without hanging out with the gang at Tamron! I got to see all the regulars as well as meet the new Tech Rep and Eastern Sales Manager. They are great folks and I look forward to more and more great events with them this year. If you live in Atlanta or near it, you should try and get down there today or tomorrow and see all the great gear at the Expo. I hope to make it down there again tomorrow.
Sunrise over The 3 Chairs. Tamron 16-300mm Di VC PZD lens on a Canon 70D, Manual Mode, f16, ISO 100, metered the sky and placed it at -.7, resulting in a shutter speed of 1/3rd of a second, Sirui W2204 waterproof tripod and K20X ballhead, Peak Design strap, Lowepro photo backpacks, processed in Lightroom CC.
