Be It Ever So Brief

Be it ever so brief.

Yesterday turned out to be a beautiful day on the mountain. I was able to do some work around the house I have needed to do but couldn’t in the rain. My brother Jamie and a friend came up to visit late afternoon. It was good to finally show him our little piece of paradise. It is raining again today, but it was nice to see a sunset over The 3 Chairs last night. It is supposed to clear up tomorrow finally for a few days at least. There are a lot of folks that have been really suffering with the floods. Let’s hope their New Year’s starts better.

  1. Love this image! How do you like the 16-300mm lens? I have the older version which they stop making: 18-270mm lens. I had the lens for a couple of years and have been real pleased with the results. It is definitely my all-around or go-to lens. It is so versatile for a wide variety of situations.
