You are clear for takeoff.

This morning I head back to Bear Woods. I have really enjoyed my time here in New Mexico and have met some wonderful people and photographed some incredible scenes. It will be great to see Evelyn and my girls! Time to get home sit by a nice fire and relax.

Watching the Sandhill Cranes takeoff in the mornings is such an incredible sight. The water typically has a thin sheet of ice that the birds break before they are ready to fly. Bosque del Apache is such a special place, you really should go there if you have never been. Words and images can not truly portray the feeling of seeing the “fly out” each day.
