The Berry Eagle Pair

The Berry Eagle Pair.

I went out to Berry College today. I didn’t intend to go to Berry College but Evelyn did her Civic Duty on a Jury this week and it caused me to cancel a trip to the Smokies. I needed a shooting day, so off to Berry it was. The pair flew in just before sunrise to their favorite perching tree. Then Dad flew off behind the nest while Mom brought in a small stick. Then off they went into the blue sky. We checked their favorite hunting grounds and found them there hunting Coots. I was safe since I am not eligible for the senior discount for another 2 months…

I was able to get some nice images of them together both near the nest and at the feeding grounds. I will never get tired of watching Bald Eagles. For those enjoying the Apalachicola images, they will be back soon.
