I see you…the invasion part 2.

I see you…the invasion part 2.

Okay, it really isn’t an invasion, but one more Tobacco Hornworm is helping to prune the tomato plants. We will leave it there to have a good meal. In case you are wondering, which I know everyone here hasn’t slept since the last invasion because of their desire to know, the other tomato plant is actually doing better now than it was before the other hornworm started pruning it. The foliage is filled out and their are blossoms on it. Maybe letting these guys help with the gardening is the way to go….just saying you don’t have to kill everything.

Happy First Day of Fall by the way.

Tamron SP 90mm f2.8 Di VC USD 1:1 Macro lens on a Canon 7Dii, Aperture Priority, f8, -.7 stops of exposure compensation, ISO 100, resulting in a shutter speed of 1/5th of a second, Sirui R4214X tripod and K40X ballhead, Peak Design Leash, Lowepro photo backpack, processed in Lightroom CC.

  1. Really cool shot

  2. Amazing colors and focus, David…even if it’s just a bit creepy to look at. Nature is fascinating, though, isn’t it? 😉

Thanks! Nature never ceases to amaze me. The hornworm is very harmless, physically but looks very menacing. Funny how nature works.
