Incredible Waterlily!

Incredible Waterlily!

I went down to Gibbs Gardens yesterday to unwind and do a little scouting for our upcoming Waterlily workshop (August 27) and the sheer number of waterlily and dragonflies was incredible! With the heat we have been having and all the buds on the plants, the next few weeks are going to be spectacular. I found a couple nice flowers and just waited for dragonflies, in this case a Slaty Skimmer, to land by the flower. The contrasting colors was perfect for what I wanted to capture.

We still have just a few spots for the workshop and the price includes your entrance fee, instruction, and lunch at the Arbor Cafe. Here is a link for more information and registration.
