Kinda looks like rain…

Kinda looks like rain…

I had to drive to the flatlands yesterday and it was pouring. I couldn’t see 20 feet in front of me. As soon as I headed up the mountain, it was clear and dry. Judging from the slight amount of water in a pan outside, we got about a quarter inch. We rely on rain up here for our water. It is what feeds the well deep in the mountain. It helps to keep fire chances down. It keeps our air clean and fresh.

On a different note…I know folks like to come and drive our winding roads and have fun. Please keep in mind, this is our neighborhood though. We had another bear cub get hit by a car and killed a couple of days ago. We don’t speed down your neighborhood street, please don’t speed down ours.
