Blue Cranes

I would say the most delicate of the cranes that I saw at the International Crane Foundation were the Blue Cranes. They are native to South Africa. In the image posted it is easy to think they are stuffed or models. They look so smooth. They were in a display with a painted background and I almost thought they were robotic at first. So incredible, sadly they are declining in numbers in the wild. I hope one day mankind realizes how much damage they can do. I guess the next species to rule the Earth will talk about how bad a job we did…
