White Tigers

At the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue, there are several white tigers. In listening to the folks there and researching, Bengal tigers can carry a gene that will make the offspring white. It isn’t a separate breed but just the Bengal tigers lacking the color pigment. They are incredibly gorgeous and easy to photograph up there. Have I mentioned it is worth the trip to Wisconsin just to go to the Big Cat Rescue? Along the way, there are plenty of places to stop and do some more sightseeing and photography. I do recommend taking some bug spray for outdoor activities, the State Bird, the mosquito, can be abundant…
