After the storm.

After the storm.

This morning at about 3a.m. we had a big storm come through. Lots of lightening and a ton of rain. We can always use the rain. This is the typical summer pattern up here which creates some great early and late skies. I am really looking forward to the days and years to come. On a different note, Evelyn called me while I was picking up some stuff in the flatlands and said her favorite bear, the king of the this forest, was helping to prune some trees in the front. He likes to break branches on the Leyland Cypress. When I got home he had done a fairly good job of landscaping at both ends of the driveway…

Tamron SP 15-30mm f2.8 Di VC USD lens on a Nikon D-800, Aperture Priority, f5.6, -1 stop of exposure compensation, ISO 100, resulting in a shutter speed of 1/125th of a second, Sirui T2205X tripod and G20X ballhead, Peak Design Slide strap, processed in Lightroom CC.
