One of those rules of composition is to never divide your frame in half. The rule of thirds and all that stuff. Well I say, if it works as 50/50, do it. There is equal interest in the top of the frame as well as the bottom half so it is the natural composition. Composition is simply doing arranging things to make it interesting. Remember the rules, but break them often.

  1. Great photograph, rules be damned.

  2. Gorgeous photos! Rules?? Sometimes they work and at other times they don’t, never be bound by them.

Thanks! The best rules are meant to be broken!
