A Relaxing Day

A relaxing day.

Yesterday was such a relaxing day. Shouldn’t all birthdays be relaxing. It’s not like you actually did the hard work when you were born in the first place…right? Evelyn and I took some dog crates, dog beds and toys/treats to the local rescue for donation. Our girls don’t use crates anymore, plus we had enough beds for 2 houses! Then we checked out a new BBQ place, Bigun’s BBQ in Talking Rock…very good food! Of course I took the time to put up some new birdhouses and watch the feeders awhile. The Carolina Chickadees are always the most entertaining and almost playful it seems. This was one that would take one seed, throw it on the ground and then take the second seed to a branch to eat. I guess he is helping the ground feeders as well as himself.
