Today is the Solstice

Today is the Solstice.

Today is the shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere and the longest day in the southern hemisphere. I was hoping to capture this incredible sunrise or sunset of what was labeled as “Bearhenge”. It was not to be…

So here is the view similar to what we had this morning and evening, pea soup. We love it though.

Sony RX-100M3, Aperture Priority, f5.6, -0 stops of exposure compensation, ISO 100, resulting in a shutter speed of 1/50th of a second, processed in Lightroom 5, converted to toned BW in On One Suite 9.
